Flat White Refreshed Fire Helmet with Boston Bend

This beautifully worn fire helmet is finally heading out of the shop after receiving a well-deserved uplift. Having seen its share of real fire duty, the helmet came in needing a refresh to restore both its appearance and readiness for action.

The shell was professionally repainted in a clean flat white finish, giving it a bold, timeless look. Flat black tets from DKE Decals were installed to provide sharp contrast while maintaining a rugged, no-nonsense aesthetic. The customer’s original brass was carefully reinstalled, preserving the helmet’s character and history.

Inside, a CCI black earflap liner was fitted for comfort and protection, while a classic Boston bend reshaped the brim for a strong traditional profile. New acorn nuts were added to complete the restoration with fresh, reliable hardware.

With its refreshed finish, upgraded components, and original brass back in place, this helmet is once again ready to get back where it belongs—on the fireground.
