N5A Satin Black Fully Restored Fire Helmet

This N5A is headed back to Beachwood after a complete professional restoration, bringing it fully back to service-ready condition.

The helmet received a satin black repaint for a clean, classic finish, and a brand-new brass band was installed to restore structural integrity and style. New suspension tabs and an adjustable suspension system from Ragtop Fire were fitted, alongside a new Nomex chin strap and clips, ensuring comfort, safety, and durability.

The original retro brass was carefully cleaned and preserved, keeping the nostalgic “over spray” that reflects its history. The original D-ring was retained, while holes from aftermarket full-face shield mounts were filled and metal shield mounting studs added for proper shield attachment.

This N5A is now fully restored, blending classic aesthetics with modern upgrades, and is ready to hit the streets and perform on the fireground.
